Angry AARRRGH!!!! Ignition wire order mixup! HELLp!!

I just got my 95 SC400 back from the family mechanic, who performed the 90K service. I think he mixed up the ignition wire firing order. I know which cylinders are the correct numbers, but I don't/can't find the order the wires come off the two distributor caps. I should have bought a manual off of ebay........ Is anyone willing to provide me with the wiring sequence off of each cap?? PA-LEEZE!!!! (thank you) Nitro

Hey Neagan,

PM me your email address. I have a complete 9 page .pdf file on the high tension cord assembly "how to" from the factory.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the numbers should actually be on the cap.

Yep, they are written across the front... starting from the air filter side, moving towards the battery, you should see numbers like 2 8 3 5 4 6 7 1. I think that's it off the top of my head, but as long as you can read, you'll be certain to get it right

Default distributor wires..........

Unfortunately my distrubutor caps had both sets of numbers on each cap, four of the eight numbers are in curcles,I gather they are both interchangable, so I couldn't be sure the wires were still hooked up correctly..... but thanks for pointing it out. Nitro
