Default Need a repair shop in San Francisco Bay Area

I think I need to get the car checked all around. I've hit the 60,000 miles on the timing belt. Any recommendations for a shop here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm not taking it to a Lexus dealer

Thanks

Wish I could help you there but you know where I'm at! LOL Good to see you back on the board here. I thought you didn't have to do timing belt till 90k. I'm getting ready to do mine now with the whole nine yards. Complete tune also, pick up the dist parts tomorrow, wich are the last parts I need. BTW I can't find proof of it ever being changed but I just might have 235k on my belt and such. Now that would be a record for Toyota durability

Sorry the bullet is being a bit cantankerous, might have something to do with age.;-) The stall problem your having if you had a carb I would say is vapor lock.Have them test the fuel pump pressure at the fuel rail when she's warm, it might be the pump has seen better days. May be one of several possibilities. Hope you find a good shop with reasonable rates and they get the bullet righteous again. I've heard silly con valley is pricey :-)
