Do you get more hot an bothered when you see a lexus slammed and tucked or when you see one with a little higher stance and wheels pokin? I'm tuckin right now but the roads here suck so I'm debating going a little higher and just spacing my wheels out. What do you guys think?

Both looks don't bother me. lol In the end it's all personal preference. I can care less what others think of my ride.....I'm not slammed and my wheels are flush....just the way I like it. =)

Well the only thing that bothers me is 4x4 status with a hella poke stance. lol

Haha no 4x4 here haha. I just picked my old spacers up so I'll be raising up and spacing them out this weekend

hey maybe you can help me out. i am newbie with my is250. i am plaining on getting new set of wheels. I want to make it look flush. What the best offset for 19" ? tire size ? any good shop for fender modding ?

i am current on spring now but will get coil soon..

just me, but i hate fender gap, as much as i hate that buck tooth gap... the flushness can suffer a bit!
if its too low needs biggers wheells, not taller springs

It's trial and error....but I suggest you get your coilovers first then wheels. Suspension always first.....or buy at same time.

I'm not sure about offsets.....browse in the 2nd gen section on here. There will be tons of info there.

Semi-aggressive probably like 8.5 +20-25 and 9.5 +25.......

Poke reminds me of the mid '90s when people would run wire 13"x10"s on Tempos, Berettas, and Corsicas.. damn things looked like roller skates. Not that wheels sunk into the fender by 2" look any better, trust me I shake my head every time I see my car, I'll get spacers one day. And the roads aren't that bad, not knowing the roads is what causes the problem. My old Cressida scrapped on shadows and it was fine up in Kent, for that matter Tacomas side streets were barely doable.

exactly! do what you like and let ur imagination run wild. we all own creative in our own aspects..i was only on h&r springs and ran 20" vossen cv1s..the offset was almost perfect and i didn't need spacers...a nice drop and some nice wheels usually do the trick

I know you're not asking me =P but I saw your post, and thought I can probably help you out a little, since I owned 2nd is350 before.
I would go with 19x8.5 +30 for Front, and rear 19x10 +38.
this set up should look flush without any fender mod or stretched tires, but with 1-2 inches lowered.

**** 'acceptable.' one should do whatever makes him or her happy, no matter what others think or whats 'in.' my personal preference is 'the less fender gap, the better.' but im not going to hate/judge or be appalled at someone else's choice of how they like their vehicle.

I personally like the VIP look with the stance brings the fender to the top of the rim showing little to no tire on top. Im striving for that right now. I agree with the others in that its whatever makes u proud of ur ride. Ur gonna have admirers and haters. just be true to what u think looks fresh!

Whatever you do, just make sure its clean and not awkward looking. Either tucked or poked. No 4x4 is the motto lol.
