has anyone been to Midnight Window Tinting Inc. in Seattle? they sell pre-cut tint on ebay for a pretty decent price. they have a shop where they do work also. i have always installed my own tint, but i have never used pre-cut. they say its cut using a computer program. anyway, does anyone have experiance with them or other pre-cut tint? thanks- Brian

I would never go to fastlanes. But thats me. Bad experience multiple times. I had bad customer service every time.

There's a good guy that has been installing tint for 20 yrs as well. His shop is on 120th and Pacific avenue. Across the street from Paradise Bowling alley. His shops name is Custom Tint. He even does clear bra I have clear bra done by him and he didnt go with pre cut. I am going to get my windows redone 20% and 5% on the back windsheild. Previous owner had it done at Lexus.

Cj shades in fife FTW....he does a great job and stands behind it all the time. I got all my cars done by him and its a 1 hr and 30 min drive for me

sounds like i have a couple places i can check on. i cant decide on 20% or 35%. i have light colored interior on a dark car so i was thinking 20. but, i know some shops wont do anything but legal tint jobs. guess i'll have to go find out.

i saw the work midnight did on my friends a4, and it looks very nice. if youre down for a drive up to bellevue, theres a place named benchmark motoring (who work with accutint) that does the best work ive seen so far. send me a pm, ill see if i could get you a discount off original retail (if youre interested, that is)

there is actually only one fastlane now. the personnel do not like people walking in the door and saying, "that expensive, cant you give me a better price."

They will kick you out of there store for a comment like that.

Hopefully you werent one of those people that wanted a better price.

If you were, you should have went where you thought you could get that price.

I actually used to tint windows there in the later 90's, before they did the mod thing.

^^^^No it wasnt that I wanted a better price and definitely wasnt trying to say that this store is cheaper, can you beat it.

SMP142, since you have a lighter interior and you want it to look dark inside. Go with 20%, it also helps block the sun, where the visor doesnt cover . You will not get harrassed with window tint around here. At least since I have had 20% on all my cars that I have owned.
Key thing when getting pulled over(there not pulling you over for your tint). Just roll your window down, so the cops can see you(driver) in plain view. Dont harrass the cops and just be polite.
If the company doesnt do 20% tint. Go somewhere else that will. More stores will do illegal tint, they just wont give you a receipt. But they will back up there work. I think. Mine does at least.

i used to work at fastlane also. but if you want quality tint at a very good price call mino at dealer express in auburn and tell him alvin sent you. trust me he does excellent work. plus lifetime gaurantee

Accutint is the best in Bellevue. When I used to work for Lambo they had me take the cars there to be done all the time and never a complaint. They did the windows on my Tundra and if you get even the slightest imperfection they will redo it no questions asked. Oh and the tint doesn't turn purple. NEVER go to Extreme Audio in Renton for the love of god.
