Clicking/ticking noises when engine is turned off
Lately I've been noticing that when I turn off the engine, I can hear a ticking or clicking sound coming from the car. The ticking/clicking noise continues on for a few minutes before going away. Is any one else having these noise issues once turning off their NX? Is this type of noise normal? I have the F Sport model if that helps.

That sounds like normal expansion and contraction as the engine, exhaust and components cool down. Also could be the electric fan cycling off and on and/or the gas tank purging. A lot goes on with today's cars when you shut them off.

Okay so I just took the NX out for a quick 5 minute spin around the block to see if I can replicate the sound. Upon turning off the engine after letting it idle for about a minute. I popped open the hood, I can hear that the sound is definitely coming from the front end. Sounds like water droplets slowly dripping onto metal, that's what the clicking sound is. At first it's very continuous like every second the gradually it starts to slow down to every 3 seconds and continues on for about 5 minutes or so. What could be the cause of these water droplets? Does this still seem normal for a brand new NX? had it for less than a month just reached 1800KM.

Just curious is anyone else experiencing this water droplet sounds once they turn off the vehicle? Just worried that something could be leaking under the hood, that's causing the water droplet sounds.
