Thumbs up Lane Change Turn Signal

Does the NX come with the 3, 5 or 7 blink lane change function? I have it on my ES 300h and use it all the time. Great feature.

You can push the turn signal stalk halfway and from the factory, the car will blink 3 times. You can get the dealer to program it to 5 or 7 times.

Actually there are more choices. Check the Personalized Settings PDF here: http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/15N...i-customer.pdf

Screen shot from it:

There is also an app out there that you can change it yourself (Aftermarket) with an OBDII attachment and the app on your phone.

A bit off topic but the I find the turn signal noise very low and one seems to have to really turn back the other way for it to go off. Not very sensitive to opposite wheel turn. I've left it on by accident several times already. Kind of funny since that was one complaint I had when test driving a Subaru Outback...super loud turn signal noise...no way you would forget to turn that one off!

The turn signal sound volume can also be configured, either by the dealer or by yourself with the [Pro version] Carista app and a wi-fi OBDII adapter:

Wow, thank you. I never would've imagined that was adjustable!

Here is a link to a post about Carista:

I am not endorsing it, nor have I used it, just throwing it out there as an option for you to look at.

I have used the Carista app, and have just created a thread which contains a brief description of my experiences and the hardware I purchased.

I could do with a brighter blinking light since I play my music a tad on the loud side.
