I'm very interested in the color combination of ultrasonic blue with the red interior. the dealer says I have to special order it from Japan they want 10 grand down and pretty much said if I don't like it it's probably going to be hard for them to sell it so it's kind of mine. do you think that those colors will clash too much. I've had black cars and silver cars and the white isn't doing it for me.. I'm looking for something unique to get into everyday and thinking this maybe it. any thoughts on the color combination Thanks

Hmm red and blue aren't colors that you see together often. Maybe there is a reason. No doubt that's why the dealer wants the $10k down etc. To each his own though. Seems like a bit of a risk for you.

"It looks like Superman Combo".
So we took the OB as it was the only one left in the lot with Rioja Red.

I can definitely vouch for USB and if I didn't already have it on my IS, I'd get this for sure on the NX. However, I'm on the fence on the red/blue combo, but if you want unique, this is by far the most unique combination. Found these pics if this helps. If you're unsure like me but love USB and Rioja Red on their own, you can always tint the front windows to minimize the red being seen from the exterior...

Thanks corrado. I'm glad I saw those pics. I went to original website and there were a few others. I think a solid red would be marginally better than the red with the black trim. Not excited about that color combo anymore. Now I have to determine if interior of red is more important than USB exterior. Problem is when you have these decisions I usually just do nothing. Oh well.

I was in the same boat almost two years ago when I ordered my IS. I absolutely wanted the R. Red interior, but I also wanted USB exterior. In Canada, that combo is not offered so in the end, I made the decision the exterior color was "more important" over the interior color and got USB/black interior. No regrets at all and in fact I love the "Sport-Business" look of this combo. It also made it so much easier for me to get the Obsidian/R.Red combo on the NX this time around.

I bought this combination this wee. It sure is a rare combination and only 1 was available in MA. I absolutely love it more than those black/gray combinations. Red stitches look absolutely gorgeous.

Dealer doesnt have to custom order these at all.. check the inventory at other dealerships

Another USB owner here, awesome color! Only thing I'd say is you see the swrils like any other none white cars

Great colour combination. Lots of compliments. Difficult to get. Waited 4 months. Lots of black or white exterior with red interior. That would have been delivered in 2 weeks.
Not to fussed about the delay as my model had the improved rear door sealing and clips for the central mirror rather than magnets.



In all honesty you can barely see the interior colour from the exterior. But you certainly enjoy it when your in the cabin.

Resale is not effected. Used Is350 just in on the lot with this colour combo. Priced higher than others cars given equal specs and kms.
