Lexus has a bad reputation for leaving available features off the list on first and second model years of a new generation of cars. For example, 2013 Lexus GS does not have power trunk and auto folding mirrors but the 2014 does, but then again the 2015 GSs have birds eyeview navigation and reverse backup lines with trajectory lines that the 2014 did not get. All while other countries may have almost all these extra features but not available to USA.
Id say if an option is available internationally then it should also be availble in USA and vice versa.

Hello all, I am a new owner of the '15 NX200t F-Sport and new to this forum. Love the car and all the reads here.
I just priced the Australian NX200t Sport Luxury, it's north of USD $55,000. I don't think I would pay that much for NX with those US-unavailable features.
One other thing I noticed, Australian NX has an all-time AWD system, not "only when needed" one as in US. Is it true?
Also, does anyone know what are the new features will be on 2016 models?
I just priced the Australian NX200t Sport Luxury, it's north of USD $55,000. I don't think I would pay that much for NX with those US-unavailable features.
One other thing I noticed, Australian NX has an all-time AWD system, not "only when needed" one as in US. Is it true?
Also, does anyone know what are the new features will be on 2016 models?

I looked at all of these and preferred all of them over my NX. However when it comes to price, the Porsche would lease in the mid $700 range, the Audi also over $700 mo, the X4 2.8 would start in the mid $500 range and my NX F sport leased at $400 mo I also liked the Audi Q3 but could not locate one with the features I wanted that also did not have several other expensive features which put the Q3 in the upper $400 range.
So in the price dept, the NX was much cheaper. I do find the NX underpowered.

$55k's not bad. I have a 300h F-Sport that's loaded with all of the L package gear, and it was north of $60k. And that's without Oz's ridiculous vehicle taxes.
