remember the REVERSE TILTING MIRRORS only work if you have the switch in the left or right position. If you have it in the middle/neutral position, they do not tilt down while in reverse.

Also, while in reverse, you set the mirrors to the tilted position you want (both of them), and when you put it in park or drive, it should tilt both back up.... never heard of just 1 working.

Both mirrors tilt down when you are in R, as long as the mirror-adjustment switch isn't in the middle position.

Further, while in R you can adjust the mirrors' position(s) to your liking. Then just hit the [1|2|3] "seat position save" button and your setting(s) will be saved with that profile.

Incorrect. As long as the switch is pointing to EITHER left or right, BOTH mirrors will switch to a new angle. why I mention angle, as opposed to just "down", is because you have to do a one time set up, like this->

Put the car in R, then adjust both mirrors to the position you want them to be when in R. (You could even have one going up and the other going down, btw), then go back to N, flip the switch to one side, and test by putting back into R. Your mirrors should go to that angle you set earlier.

Thanks!
Would love to see you do that.

As I said above, note that you must save your "reverse mode" mirror adjustments with one of the seating position buttons, or those adjustments will be lost the next time you push one of them.

I have never hit the memory buttons to save my Reverse Angled Down mirror positions - and I have changed mine a few times... it just saves no extra buttons needed.... It is saved automatically based on which key is sensed (key sensed and saved/paired as a particular memory button). But for what it is worth, I am the only one that drives it and I only 1 key/1 memory button saved programmed. Anyway here is the owners manual copy/paste

Of note is that if you change the regular driving position of the mirrors, it also changes the Reverse Angle position because the two are related.

That's my mistake, as you absolutely correct! Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the picture Corrado! Looks similar to our U.S. switch, less the power mirror switch. Also, since I know that Canada has them, the parts may be easier to get! Maybe someone in the forum would be so kind as to acquire them for us CL members and ship! .

I will definitely do some research if I can find a Canadian Lexus parts source.

So which models in Canada have the power folding mirror? I have the Sport Series 2 and no folding mirrors. I did not think you could get them in Canada....I would like them, but...
