While I am excited by a 40+MPG posting it appears it is only for 54 miles, so to me not really all that big a feat. I can drive around the local area I live and get 50+ MPG if I am careful enough for 50 miles.

Show me 40+ MPG after a 300+ mile tank and then I will be very impressed.

22.9 is the best, constant I've been getting on a 91 gas and 99% city driving in mixed regular/sport modes on a AWD F-Sport.

I was thinking about trying eco mode around town and using a full tank to see if there is much difference between that and normal mode. Not sure if I can stand the eco for that long a time LOL

Trying to gauge mpg after only 50 miles isn't really a useable number.

I usually get 14-16mpg out of my Camaro, but if I get gas, and then start coasting in neutral everywhere, I've gotten 39mpg over a very short time.

The value of your mpg is over the duration of the gas tank.

Agreed my current MPG is 36.5 since my last visit to the gas station (2 weeks ago). This is 95% highway/back roads, just about 5% city drive. I'm very impressed with my 300h. I have to fill up my tank today

I'm only 200 miles in, and I'm showing 24mpg during break in. This is very encouraging as most cars don't open up to their expected mpg until after 1000 miles.

It has been 95% back roads and 5% little town traffic.

Up to 1600 or so miles.

1st 1000 miles I averaged 22.9 mpg on the computer. Hand calculations had me around 23.5
Past 600 miles has me at 24.7 mpg (mostly highway and low traffic local roads)

On my past tank I hand calculated over 27 mpg for a 260 mile tank. Most of the tank was used for highway driving with a trip for Mother's Day where my destination was about 75 miles from home.

I have an AWD FSport and I got 23.6 on my very first tank in mostly highway driving and on eco mode. The dealer filled it up for me and I assume he filled it up with premium.

This morning I go fill up my tank and I goofed and filled it up with regular.

Anybody got any suggestions on what to do. I plan on filling it with premium every time it's down a quarter tank so that its not pure 89 running through the engine.

I know some said that it will run fine on regular gas but I wasn't trying to find out. :-(

I'm afraid I will forget also as I have never used premium in my other cars.
