I too have not been getting anywhere close to the mpg on sticker. I'm getting about 18.3 to 19.7 per the readings from the car, driving a combine city highway route to work and mostly city driving on weekend in cold cold Cleveland since December. Using 91 octane from Sunoco. how much of a difference you think by using 87 octane like my 12 RX?? Maybe better mpg using different premium fuel?? better MPG in spring, summer?? NX 200t F Sport. my first dealing with a turbo.

What were you getting with your RX under the same conditions? The NX should be 15-20% better like for like... (it's what I'm seeing compared to my prior RX)

Going from a 6 cylinder( ever since my 05 RX Thundercloud to my 12 RX Fire Agate with saddle interior) this is my first 4 cylinder since a 98 CRV.
ill keep my fingers crossed & wallet ready for the summer gas...

I took my NX 300h FWD one week ago. It is my first hybrid so I am not used to drive a hybrid.
I have driven today 1000 Km (621 miles) with my wife and two children plus the cargo (about 300 Kg in total), 95% highway and according to the computer of the car the average speed was 110 Km/h (68 miles/h) and fuel comsuption was 7.5 L/100 Km (31.3 mpg).

First Tank...
FWIW and a totally non representational sample as I would guess I've idled for close to an hour to go through various settings. My fuel consumption was 11.9 L/100KM. Mostly city driving with a mix of Eco, normal and Sport+ modes. Taking it pretty easy on the gas pedal (for the most part
), for the fist 1000 KM.
I am refueling today and will see how it goes with tthe next tank which should be a little more representative.

^^^11.9 L/100 km is pretty good for what you described.
Just did 502 km on a Hwy trip to Montreal. At refill, computer read 9.1 L/100 km. I put 47.2L which gives an actual consumption of 9.4 L/100 km. My speed was mostly near 120 km/hr. In short, very pleased with the numbers as I also have fatter non-LRR tires.

I never got better than high 9s in the RX at 120km/hr. Keep in mind dropping the speed by just 10km/hr will see about a 3% improvement and another 4-5% or so if I went back to the 225-width Michelin Low Rolling Resistance tires vs the higher fuel consuming and fatter 255 Yokohama rubber I'm riding on. In these standard conditions, I'd be getting the Canadian Government's rating of 8.8 L/100km Hwy for the F Sport and likely better at 100 km/hr.

So I had my first refill yesterday and the Information System said my fuel range was 18 KM's. Based on that I assumed I had a couple of litres left in the tank but when I filled I could only get 49.5L in. I believe the tank has a 60L capacity.
So is Lexus being overly cautious? There has to be some kind of float in the tank that has an accurate read on how much gas is left.
My judge on fuel efficiency is
has been how far I can go on a full tank. My old Xterra was 62L fuel capacity and I could get 350 +/- KM's on a 62L tank. With 10L left in a 60L tank on the NX I was at 450 KM's. If I get 600KM's then that's 10L/100KM - that would be impressive (more highway driving needed me thinks!).

Read the manual , I'm pretty sure its stated in there not to empty the tank. 1/4 is my rule of thumb....also gas can and does get water in it. Cars don't run as well on water , not yet anyway.

8,3 lt/100km (34mpg) in my last 500km trip. 130k/hr most of the time, 75% highway, full load and A/C.
Quite good number IMHO.
Take a look at my stats. I've been using this for a couple of months and it's interesting to use. I have a 8,43 (33.5) as my average in the last 3000 km
