Sorry...not a fan of the running boards. That's what makes the world go around....everyone is different.

Not too bad of an install. You have to drill 8 holes through the pinch welds, but otherwise, it is really simple. I'll snap a few pics and upload the instructions in pdf. A DYI wouldn't be out of the question.

Picked her up earlier this week

Traded in my 2011 IS250 and I'm enjoying the ride comfort, size, and technology. Love this CUV!!!

^^^ That's a nice shot! Congrats!

EDIT: I noticed you also have a late-model Explorer in your garage. How does the NX compare, not that they do...

Thanks Corrado! The Explorer is my father's SUV and I've driven it many times. Definitely a lot bigger than the NX. It was his first time getting into an American car and it's actually not that bad.

It's a lot bigger dimension wise so driving it in tighter spaces and small spots can be an issue. It also feels very "floaty" compared to the NX. The NX feels planted and way more nimble.

What got him interested in the Explorer was the third row seating

As a fair comparison it'd probably be better off squaring against the RX. You can see how much smaller the NX is against the Explorer.

rasec29,
Love that color, that looks sharp. In a few years I will be getting a lexus and I will be looking at that one. Now that my wife has one I have to get one next.

They all look great.
