How big of a success do you think the NX will be?

GLA is like CT on raised suspension and some plastic covers... not the same. NX is GLK.

Agreed. Main competitors to the NX are GLK, X3, Q5, RDX, MKC.

Yep, in fact, a GLA is a slightly revised and raised A-class (not avail in N.A.), similar to the Crosstrek XV is to the Impreza 5-door. Interior of the A, is the same as the GLA, and CLA.

To the question of how big of a success the NX will be, just a note:
according to my sales rep, waiting time for a NX300h is currently ... 6 months!!
I would call this a success, unless the production is going to other countries. It seems that orders have exceeded planifications.

In fact, they expected 400 units sold along 2014, and they've already reached 800 units. Only hybrids, since turbo is not available here yet.

As for my pre-order I did back in APRIL, there's a risk I may not get it in early December but possibly into January. And my NX is the first among the first allotment for my dealer which they submitted in early August. Demand globally is that crazy high! Got this from my dealer's GM last week.

They thought that 300h would stand for at least 80% of the sales.

Lexus CTJill is discontinued. She no longer owns a CT anymore and should change her name accordingly...

I hope you pre-ordered yours.

Maybe I'll get lucky. Being in LA, I'm betting a major allotment will be reserved for here. Besides, I don't believe in depositing for something I haven't test driven yet.

Good luck. For the deposit, you can always bail out and get it back pending the test drive and final sales deal is to your liking.

Yeah there will be a lot of them here with so many dealers packed together. When I bought my CT I contacted 6 of them, all located on my drive from home to work. LA is certainly a buyers market.

It´s the same for other european countries as well , my dealer gets their next shipment of NX 300h at the end of April . I asked about 2.0T and they will get the first demo around february/march and sold cars arrive around july.
