Internet Sales at Lexus
FWIW, I've expressed an interest in the NX to the salesman that sold us our 2011 CPO RX. Early in the year, he did not know what an NX was, then the light went on and he said, "Oh...the small one." He said he'd let us know when they hear anything. Lately however, the Internet salesperson sent me emails introducing himself saying I'd be among the first to know when an NX would be available. To whom should I be loyal? I'm leaning towards the internet guy.

FWIW, I was able to reserve my NX back in April as soon as it was unveiled. At this point in time, there should be no reason why your sales rep would not be able to reserve one for you, let alone know about its features. In fact, I firmed up my order last week on color and package. As I did, I would work with whomever has a commanding knowledge of the product if you want to be among the first to get one since a lot of things can go wrong with the order of a new model if knowledge is lacking. In fact, some of the info I posted on Canadian spec NX's came from my dealer/sales rep which is why I have complete confidence I will not be disappointed with my order.

hi, i am looking into picking up an NX for myself
how are you able to place an order without knowing the exact pricing yet? what if the dealer gets their allocation and the demand is insanely high and the dealer adds another 10k to the sticker price....is the order a binding agreement?
