Default Sunroof Up and Open

Pics comparing the Up vs Open modes. First Lexus sunroof that opens outwards done to not impact rear headroom.

Smile Lexus order

Last week I placed my order for an Atomic Silver/Flaxen combo NX200t AWD with Preferred package, Navigation package and a few other options (Blind spot monitoring/rear cross traffic alert, Lane departure, power rear door, triple beam LED headlights, front end protective film, mud flaps, all weather floor mats and rear cargo tray). Using a broker and price is MSRP less $1000. No hassle, no negotiation. No Lexus dealer in town so broker delivers it. Four month order lead time. First new car in 10+ years. Excited.

Are the triple beams standard on the F sport? I remember some people talking about that subject early on. Just looking for a definitive answer.

If not, are the triple beams worth getting? they look cool and all but kinda of expensive at $1200.

Not standard......it will cost you $1,160.00. I like 'em!

Default Lexus order

I just got a quote from a dealer in WA. $42500 for a 200t non F-sport (options below). They said there was no discount from MSRP if I order it from the factory and there's a $500 charge for "lexus pro-trim'?

What do you guys think about the deal? Not great at the whole negotiating thing but I"m reading quite a few people getting below MSRP for their orders. Any advice would be much appreciated.

options:
Comfort package
Auto dimming rear view mirror with homelink
Autodimming outer mirror with BSM
Heated ventilated front seats
Intuitive park assist
Triple beam headlamp

I placed a custom order for a new AWD NX 200t F Sport on saturday 2/7/14.

- Eminent White Pearl/Rioja Red interior
-Electrochromic outer mirrors with blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, reverse tilt, heated and memory
- Heated steering wheel
- Intuitive parking assist
- Homelink garage door opener
- Navigation package
- Power back door
- Premium Sport package (heated front seats, power tilt/slide moonroof, memory seats, tilt/telescopic steering column, 10 way power front seats)
- Preferred package ( Cargo net, cargo mat, key glove, wheel locks, rear bumper protector)
- Triple beam LED headlights
- Lighted door sill kick plates
MSRP $46,802
Discount -$2500
Final price $44,302

I went to the dealer i originally bought my IS from and they were giving me a $500 "repeat customer discount." I went to another dealer in town and they offered me $2500 off MSRP. I took their offer back to my original dealer and they told me they could not match it. I was disappointed, but I had to go with the better offer.

I was looking at the dealers around me are playing the were "throwing in winter floor mats 4 free" discount. custom orders are at sticker.

side note: is fogging inside the LEDs common or is that a vehicle specific issue. The dealer I visited had a non F, 200T and the right LED headlight housing was fogged from the inside. Dealer said normal, but most of other cars that I have ever seen, fogging indicated waterseal is broken needs replacement or else this becomes an issue later on

Not normal for inside headlight fogging on any brand new car.
