I don't think I've seen this color in person so I'm not sure what I'm looking at. what basic color is Fire Agate Pearl? The first photo implies a sort of black-greyish color. A lot of the other photos show a blue tint to it but I'm thinking that must be the lighting used. Fire to me would imply a redish tint like in the second last photo. Does this color show different tints depending on the lighting?

So if you drop by your Lexus showroom again, maybe they can show you the colour. This is another interesting colour -- hard to describe. It looks brownish and it is a hate-it or love-it color. Better see it in person.
Here is the a good version of the colour ---

IMO it's one ugly little thing but i'm confident it will boost sales. The best looking looking cuv on the market is probaly made by Audi. This is definately the right thing to do to pull buyers away from Mercedes and BMW.

Fire Agate Pearl was first offered in CT200h back in 2011. Then Lexus made it available to the current generation of ES and GS.

Fire Agate Pearl is a dark copper color, with some lighter bronze red tones to darker brown tones, depending on lighting conditions. In general this color is best shown like this bowl:
Personally, I'm not into browns, but I do find this color very rich and appealing, enhancing the luxury side of the NX.

Thanks for posting some fire agate photos. That color is starting to grow on me. I was at my dealer yesterday and walked thru their whole inventory and I only found one used one. The dealer sticker said, Color-Brown. I've had white, white and silver for my last 3 vehicles and am thinking of something different and it would appear unique, very few out there.

Thanks CorradoMR2. The fire agate pearl NX looks surprisingly amazing. This is another example of great work of a good photographer. Armin Auselo has captured the best angles of the NX. Not just the fire agate pearl one but the others as well.

Yeah, what a difference a real camera (and professional photographer) make!
I agree, Fire Agate Pearl, is a really nice luxurious color. Like most Lexus colors, it's multi-toned depending on lighting/angle. Under low lighting conditions, it almost looks like starlight black mica, and in brighter lighting, there's this beautiful metallic dark copper brown tone.
