Default What do you think the starting price of the NX will be?

We've seen several opinions in this forum (and out there) on estimated starting price. Let's see what the majority feels the starting price will be.

To help with some perspective:

Acura RDX (2015) pricing: $35K (US); $41K (Can)
RX 350 (2015) pricing: $41K (US); $50K (Can)

This is what my gut tells me as well for the US. And for Canada, around 41K.

around $40k or under it? That would sound right for all the equipment they listed standard - from leather to LED lights.

If they make real "base" model, then it would be lower than that, likely more around 36k?

Less than 33k when the nx200 arrives. That's the base model so far only the 200t and 300h are coming. They will base out at 35k plus probably. I'm fully expecting to see 40k for a loaded model.

NX200 is only for Russia and China.

CT200h ends up north of 42k, without most of this equipment.

According to Edmunds a loaded CT model is at $42K with LED head lights, adaptive cruise and PCS..

I'm guess the NX 200t will be another $4K or so with same equipment.

Hybrid premium should be around $3000. It will be a bit wider than on the ES. My guess is starting MSRP of $34900 for the NX200t and $37900 for the NX300h. Add 10K-12K for all available options. Nav NEEDS to be less than the $2625 on the ES. No ML option in the US which is really bad.

I've had ML in a '08 GS and '12 ES and wasn't impressed. In fact disappointing.
My present GS has the stock system and it actually sounds very close if just as good as the cars with ML I've owned.
Now in a LS there's a difference but I've read here post '10 LS460's sound isn't as good as it was pre '10.

I knew they made one didn't know it was country specific. Makes sense though as to not cross paths with the Rav4 - power wise.

I agree to. Lexus always tends to be cheaper than it German counterparts so this pricing would be in line when compared to X3, GLK, and Q5. It would also be more a bit more than the Infinity EX and Acura RDX which again is in line with pricing. Though the MDX does cost more than the RX base, but it also more true midsize versus than the RX which is between a compact and midsize.

Interesting to see the price for regular moonroof and panoramic roof is the same.

(moonroof)
(panorama roof)

1万円 = 10000円

NX200t(2.0L直噴ターボ)

(Base grade)

NX300h(2.5Lエンジン+ハイブリッド)

(Base grade)

In the blog, the author is surprised by the price of NX when adding things up. Note Lexus Japan pricing is usually higher than US and Canada due to more features and other reasons. They even charge the wheel lock for 10800 yens!
