My car came with Michelin tires but they shook horribly at 80ish mph. Sheehy Lexus was fantastic and put the yokohomas on instead which is the other OEM tires. They were meh, but they didnt shake. Fast Forward 30 k miles and a bolt and nail in the side wall and I switched out tires. I ended up with the

Great tires! ride is so much more quiet. handling may have decreased in the turns a little, but my Mario Andretti days are over.

Vibration is due to tire balancing. There is nothing wrong with the tires.
I had Lexus replace my OEM Yokohama Geolander with Michelin LTX. It made a world of difference. The Yokohama's were one of the worst tires I ever had on any of my cars.

I agree with Steve must be a balancing/alignment issue more than the tire itself. Mine came with dunlops, they are a bit noisy, but that's it. I have drove up to 95 mph without issues.

Continentals are the way to go. Have them on my RX and they feel great with low road noise compared to what I used to have on it. When the time comes, my NX will be getting Continentals as well.

pirelli came out with a new tire last year that has some new eco technology rubber or something. I bought them for my wifes IS and was really impressed for a 70k mile tire. super quiet, long lasting, and good in rain/snow...very impressed with the new pirelli...on 17 in rim were like 200 ea installed/otd
