I cannot get the door seal to sit properly. Help
So long story short, I was installing a dash cam this afternoon and I played around with the door seal (the one that is mounted to the frame, not the door) just to see if I can remove it partly so I can run wires inside. After installation, I realized the section where it contours near the back wasn't going back to its original place. Is there some sort of adhesive that is applied to these rubber seals prior? I checked the passenger side and one thing I noticed is that the rubber felt much more solid and wouldn't budge to move at all where as the drivers side is now more willing to give with force after I installed it back. Any ideas?

Based on doing similar work on other Lexus which have been consistent, I'm pretty sure it's the same on the NX and it's held on its own via tension in the frame slot, with no glue. Sometimes, the rubber is stretched out of place and needs to be stretched back into it for proper seating and grip. Posting a pic though might help generate more ideas.
