Dogs in NX
Hi - Any dog owners out there? Just wondering how you are protecting your brand new nx. I bought these to protect the seat and keep my super-spaz away from the doors

But even when buckled in, he was able to reach the doors. So now I am considering my options there. Suggestions on what has worked well for you all?

Lexus Test Driver
I purchased a rear seat cover that was soft. It covered the entire back seat for my boy dog (45lbs). Then my girl dog is a front seat rider (35lbs), so she sits on my wife's lap and I use beach towels to cover the center console.
I did that in my NX, my wife's IS, and now my 4Runner.
As for a solution to you door issue, guess its a great training opportunity. Take treats in the car, and each time the dog leave the door when you command, it gets a treat. Won't take long.

Intermediate
I purchased same hammock seat protector, but the seat belt portion included harness. Kept having to shorten the leash so dog would stay in one place. Not a perfect solution but works better than nothing.

I have the Weathertech cargo liner and my dog (5.5 kg) enjoys the ride from back there. In a former vehicle, a Volt, he also rode back there.

Stays put, with good coverage. You're never going to get absolute protection: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
