So, I want to use a floor jack to raise my NX onto jack stands. According to the manual, the front contact point is straightforward, as is the rear. However, a panel has to be removed to expose the rear floor jack contact point ...
My dilemma is that I had to remove that panel to install my receiver hitch, so that contact point is no longer accessible—blocked by the hitch.
Has anyone encountered this situation before? Will the hitch support the floor jack (until I place the jack stands in place)?
Additionally, once I raise the vehicle, I'm not sure where I should place the jack stands. Did I miss this in the manual?
I don't have an answer, but what brand of hitch is that? Who did the install? Not pointing fingers just asking to gather information. May be a bad design by Lexus on the placement of that if they didn't think about the hitch.
I would think that if the hitch is sturdy enough to haul 10000 lbs and the NX200t's max towing capacity is 2000 lbs, you should be able to jack it up at the hitch.
From looking at the OEM hitch instructions, it would block that point as well.

It's a Draw-Tite receiver and it was a self-install. The installation details are here.
Also, according to @typocl, the OEM Lexus hitch obscures the access panel, as well.

...but the "tongue weight" capacity of this hitch is 350 pounds. (400 with weight distribution).

When I put the front of my nx on jackstands I used the two points behind the mudguards (Pretty much the same place as most other cars). Look on page 567 of the owners manual regarding changing the spare tire. Not sure if these locations are appropriate for keeping your car up on jackstands for an extended period of time but it worked for me. No clue about the problem with the hitch though.
I found a good rear jack contact point (jack point) for those of us with a receiver hitch installed.
Actually, I found two jack points that can be used. However, for my particular need this weekend, only one of the two worked.
1) Rear tow hook (photo 1 below)
The problem with this jack point is that it is set so high that my floor jack couldn't raise NX high enough for the rear tire to clear the ground. Therefore, I had to find another jack point.
2) The part of the frame between the two lower control arms, just in front of the muffler. (photos 2 and 3 below)
This section was strong enough and low enough to support and to clear the rear wheels off the ground. This is what I went with and all went well.
curious if you tried jacking it up at the hitch? Did you try it then decide to back out?
With the tongue weight of the receiver at only 136 to 181kg (300 to 400 pounds), I didn't want to risk bending it. There's no support above it—between it and the main jack point.
