Default Just did 30K service for about $600

I did get them to replace the wiper inserts for free.

Attached list of services. Most of it was inspecting the various systems and parts.

Can't help the feeling of being had. Most of the cost of the service is labor.

This was done in the Atlanta metro area.

I typically skip these service packages and have them do the tangibles (lube/fluid changes - I change my own air and cabin filters) at considerable savings. You can learn from this and ask them the next major servicing, or pay the premium but have 100% peace of mind.

Corrado, I basically did it for just that...peace of mind.

And I only do the major service intervals. 30k, 60k etc.

I do simple oil changes and tire rotations in between. I'll probably go to Toyota for those.

If you are going to use the dealership, it's also a good idea to check their web site for Service Specials. Many of them offer some type of savings and you can save a few bucks.

Thanks...I did look but it looks like Lexus doesn't give out specials or coupons very often.

Unlike Toyota where dealerships are always running some sort of special.

Probably, the best deal is to go for service at Toyota and use a coupon. Win Win.
