Got a set of new illuminated door sills of my NX. Has anyone taken on the challenge to install on your NX yet? If so any tips?

I have installed them by the dealer, but the are looking really nice. I am loving them.

I have installed them myself. It's not difficult to do, just follow the install instructions.

How did you get illuminated cup holders?

and let the dealer install it for me. payed the dealer 1 working hour and fits perfect and nicely.

I really love the cup holders! $300+ is a bit steep, plus shipping and install. But dang are they hot!

Yes it is not cheap, but a car itself is not cheap. and it takes the car one Level up.

Here in Europe the NX300h top of the line, cost about 78K USD so 300+ more or not isn't the big difference anymore.

Oh absolutely! I'm not the biggest modder. So for me, spending hundreds just to have the cupholders illuminate is nuts lol I really do love the look, though! If they ever come down to the $100-150 range, I know what I'm doing :P

I don't think the price will come down. This is a Lexus Original Part.

Maybe keep an eye on the NX classifieds...never know when someone might sell the part from their recently sold or returned lease car, or recently totaled car.

Installed the door sills which took about 2 hours. Very please with result. See the link below.

Thanks for the video. Despite I have the installation PDF but a video with clear pictures is always useful. Handy when I do get the illuminated door sills for NX.

mine came with illuminated door sills installed, lots less work!
