Hi everyone,

My Lexus Enform is expiring. I am not sure i should renew it just for the enform connect (remote start) or not. I had a quick talk to one of the lexus saleman, he said the dealer can now install remote start for the NX for $600. The driver still uses the same key fob and press 3 times (hold at the 3rd) to start the car.

My question is when my lexus enform expires, will i still be able to start the car by pressing 3 times (hold at the 3rd) to start the car? Someone should run into this already.

In addition to the whole enform thing, i saw on Lexus website something about RES+, by reading the info, i think it is pretty much the same with the Enform but you need to buy a hardware and the dealer has to install it. Anyone knows anything about this?

someone's enform subscription expired, but they were still able to use the FOB to do a remote start...for a while, then that stopped too
