Lexus NX future year model improvements
#2
A NX 300 with around 285 hp, Mark Levinson, and birds eye view cameras (for US models). I am holding out hope this will all happen for 2017 models, as I will be in the market in the next few months. Otherwise I might go for a RC350 instead.

Make a model with everything on it more available for us in the United States. I'd like an F Sport with lane keep assist, pre collision, power rear seat, auto high beam, triple LED headlights, heated and cooled real leather seats...and like rcJten said add Mark Levinson, birds eye view camera....and HUD. I'm even ok with the turbo 4. I just want more models loaded out. I had to buy the luxury model to get the most features...and it was hard to find.

8 speed automatic and about 300hp out of the turbo 4. Latest safety technology with camera's in the side view mirrors like the Honda CR-V. Also acoustical glass for all side windows to keep the noise out.

Better sound deadening. There is too much road noise, wind noise and engine noise. While not horrible compared to other cars I have owned, this is by far the noisiest Lexus - which makes it feel more like an expensive Rav 4. I also agree with the HUD addition.
They have removed many of those "special" touches that most Lexus automobiles have. I'm sure that has to do with market positioning but instead it is likely to send some to other brands. We really saw these differences coming from an RX, and miss many of those features. As an example, simple things like the radio ***** feel like they came out of their Corolla rather than a Lexus. The Lexus level of detail is simply missing in this car and I would love to see it back, but that's probably my age showing and Lexus has clearly changed course to attract a younger audience.

You should call Lexus Corporate and tell them your thoughts for the future. They take customers opinions Seriously. Also tell them you concerns with the present car like wind noise, road noise etc.

Arrange packages so it's easier to get lane assist. Currently you need both the Nav and Luxury packages to get that, which is just stupid when you can get BSM, RCA, Park assist, and pre-collision with just a Premium package.
Add a USB and power outlet on the console. How can you target this car to young people and not have enough easy connectivity?
Add a storage area under the center stack like the old RX has. The "intimate" feeling is nice, but more storage is also nice. Currently there's nothing in the center except the armrest and cup holders.
