Injector Maintenance
Hi All,
I took my NX to the dealership for the 10k maintenance run and picked it up about two days ago. As I was parking earlier today, the in-dash info screen popped up an "Injector Maintenance Required" "Visit your dealer" prompt.
Since it is well into the evening right now and I have to go to work tomorrow, is it safe to drive? I have no idea what is meant by "Injector" in this case.
Image attached for reference.
Thanks all!

Based on other posts in other Lexus models, it's a standard prompt every 10k, but outside the US. From those other posts (you might search using google and pick the ClubLexus hits) you can reset the prompt yourself by looking at your manual, as long as you are sure the dealer did the called for services.

injector maintenance, is interesting. Im guessing the direct Injection injectors probs need cleaning, as the port ones will be soaked in PEI

Just spoke with the dealership, apparently they did not reset the warning during the 10k service. Nothing to be alarmed about, they say, will take the car to the dealership in the evening to get it fixed.
It's interesting as I only use Premium 98 to fuel my car so it was surprisingly when this warning suddenly popped up. They should also remove this prompt here as in the U.S.

Wow, you guys get 98 over there?! Odd considering that racing fuel starts at 100. I'm sure that being in the Emirates, you guys don't get the corned-down Ethanol blends that we do here in the states, either...

Actually we only get two variants here, the 95 - which is considered as "regular" and 98 which is considered premium. Both dirt cheap too!

Your country probably uses the Research Octane Number (RON while the USA uses the Anti Knock Index which is the avg of the RON and the MON (Motor Octane Number)

Octane rating has nothing to do with quality of the fuel. It's simply the ratio of octane to heptane molecules in the fuel. Octane is much harder to ignite then heptane so the higher the rating/ratio the harder the fuel is to ignite.
