Only problem I encountered was when I was testing and switching the on/off switch, the bulbs are slipping out of place. I noticed that the LED assembly is not as pointed at the contact points as the stock, which causes the bulb to slip out of place. No big deal for me as I don't really plan on switching it off anyway. Though it would have been nice if the bulbs would just sit securely in place.

NX Cargo lights (stock vs LED)
Did you get that rubber trunk mat from your dealer? I got a carpet cover from my dealer.. maybe I should have asked for a rubber one..

The WeatherTech mats contain water, mud, snow, dog urine, etc. better than the Lexus rubber mats, IMHO.

They seem to have a taller edge which is nice.. but does it become a problem when I carry something big and I have to lower the rear seats?

Well, yeah; if you're going to haul a load of lumber around, then most all-weather mats with a lip (edge) will affect the load.

In that case, I would remove the all-weather mat, put the cloth one back in (upside down to protect it) or use a tarp, and then toss in your lumber.

Can you tell me the best way to remove the plastic lens to get to the bulbs in the rear hatch?
Do I need a tool of some sort?

Thanks in advance.
I used a thin plastic squeegee (used to apply window tint) to go under the lens cover. I would think an old credit card would work as well. I just slid the squeegee horizontally under the plastic and towards the switch, and the whole assembly just comes off very easily.

Yep, that is OEM from the dealer. Lexus refers to it as "cargo tray". The carpet material is "cargo mat". I purchased the cargo tray separately from the dealer.

Here is a comparison of the Ebay LED to the existing light bulb

I should have bought the one with the adapter
