Default F Sport Conversion on a base NX 200t

Has anyone done this yet? I bought the base model only because it was 7k cheaper than the f sport models that were available. I hate the original bumper so wanted to change it out to the f sport bumper.

F-Sport is more than just the bumper. Over here in Malaysia, f-sport comes with additional AVS, Panoramic roof, Turbo meter, g-force meter.

However, if its just the bumper that you are concerned about, then it should be just a normal swap.

Yea I just want the bumper. Don't like the look of the original bumper. At the same same time didn't want to pay an extra $7k for the f sport package. Dealers didn't have any base models with only the f sport package. They had alot of other options on them which drove the price up.

I personally wish they would make trims different enough that you could never do a "conversion". If you didn't want to pay the up front, you don't get to get the look later.

There is a thread where someone with an international model just swapped out the upper and lower grills, but that because the bumper is the same in those markets.

For NA, you need to replace Bumper, Upper Grill, Lower grill, Fog lights, Head light washers. that is most of the appearance stuff on the front. you still won't get the appearance stuff such as the wheels and s-sport tuned suspension components. You also won't get the functional stuff built into the ECU for throttle, transmission, steering tuning and for s-sport Series 3, the AVS suspension.

It's for folks like me that wanted the hybrid but also like the Fsport front grill but not available in the 300H. I would have paid extra to get the Fsport in the hybrid, just not available in the US
