It wasn't a total washout, could see the thunderstorms coming and plan accordingly as in head in for a drink at the bar, into a store or as we did at the montmorency falls, wait for the cable car. Here a pic of Friday night on Rue St. Jean.

Still beats what we drove back to this evening in Toronto. hail destroyed all the habanero and ghost pepper flower pods. It will make for a dismal harvest in the fall.

I just got mine back from the shop. My VIN came up as affected by the recall. The recall is done in 2 steps. The first step is an inspection and then the next step consists of one and or two of different parts that must be ordered. They inspected mine and said that the parts in concern were already the newer ones on my car and nothing further needed to happen. Wasn't a wasted trip to the shop in that I went in for my 5000 mile service and had them look at a bunch of stuff. Recalls and TSB's are expected with a first gen model. I had a first gen IS (2006) and went through a bunch or recalls and TSB's on that as well. Lexus has always done a good job of taken care of the customer.
