I have noticed that my Nav Map screen shows a bunch of little red dots every where on my map. When I zoom in it looks like these little red are showing on all every section of the streets. I'm not sure what they are for but is there a way to turn this off / get rid of them? I read through the Nav User Manual but couldn't find any thing about this. I will post pictures of my nav screen later. Thanks.

I turned those red dots on by mistake once, not knowing what they were. I was eventually able to figure out how to turn them off by trial and error. I can't recall exactly where I went to turn those off, but I know it can be done. Someone with more experience will give you step by step directions.

I just checked and Route Trace is off.

Here is some pictures of my nav map.
As you can see I have a bunch of the little dots everywhere. Any idea what the are and how to get rid of them? Are they POI's?

I note that the dots are white, not red like mine. Did you recently turn Route Trace off?

Sorry picture is kinda blurry. I quickly took them in the parking garage with my phone.

Anyways, they appear to be little red dots that are highlighted in white.
This past weekend I was going through the manual and turned the Route Trace off. However, the dots are still there.

When you turn route trace off it will ask you if you want to keep the dots or not. Turn it back on then off again. Tell it no, don't keep the recorded route. That should clear it up.
