Would regular window tint on the outside of the windows work or would I have to do solar screens or something like that?

I think anything that cuts down on reflection will do it. You don't want a mirror tint, as that would make it worse. I think I saw one site for a product to keep siding from buckling because of this, it's not a tint, but more of a mesh that you put on the outside of the window. It cut down on the light hitting the windows, so you get less light coming into the house, as well as less light reflecting off.

What about an awning(s) for the window(s)? Could be aesthetically pleasing and could enhance your property value.

Update - I finally got around to bringing my car in to have this looked at along with my 1 year service. They looked at the mirror and said I have never seen this before...... But yeah, we can definitely take care of this under warrantee. Nice! No just got to keep it out of that spot in my driveway.......

I would have someone check to see if your heated outside mirror is on too long. Looks like heat from the heated mirror glass.

OP probably lives in some crazy contemporary glass box house built by a coke dealer in the 1980's. You know, where they have 20' floor to ceiling windows to really reflect the sunlight.
