Love the BSM, like someone said, it scouts the area for you, so a quick glance all is needed when changing lanes.

Haven't had a chance to play with cross-traffic function, hence, can't trall comment on it.

Rear view camera is definitely a must, I believe there is a push by all manufacturers to make it standard, perhaps even a law in the making to make it a standard feature. Read it somewhere awhile ago.

rear view cameras are going to be a requirement for new cars starting in 2018 at least in the US

cross traffic is great when backing out of a spot. it'll beep even if it detects a person walking toward the back of the vehicle from the side. It's done that to me and I would look and not see anyone for a second, then there they are.
