Removal NX200t Badge - Keeping Fsport On !
Did anyone remove the NX200t badge yet ?
I heard I can use a hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive , then use a fishing line to remove.
Would love to see pics if anyone has em!

Driver School Candidate
It would be the first car I've seen with This badge mounting... But I believed him and did nothing.
Anyway, I did this operation in my previous car, and the result wasn't good. I left marks when brushing to remove remaining adhesive. I dont remember what kind of product I used.

I asked the dealer to remove the badge from my NX before the delivery, and told me that it would leave a hole.

As for leaving marks, what did you use to remove the adhesive? You should have just used goo gone and a paper towel. Then polish to remove an residue to a shine.

I've debadged the IS and no holes.
If you look at the "NX 200t" moniker up close, each letter is individually glued with a "3M-like" adhesive backing. Also, if you apply some rotational pressure on each letter, you will feel it move slightly, which is the "play" from the adhesive backing.

Black out the badge with Plastidip
On my Accord I blacked out they Honda emblem and Accord emblem with plastidip. Very easy to use and you can easily take off with no damage to what you have spray painted. Obviously you will still see the NX emblem but it will blend in more. They do make all different colors of plastidip also. Go to YouTube and search plastidip and see what this stuff can do. When i have time I will take pic and post

Not removing it. Made a huge *** mistake.
I was in a rush and used a sponge with those green pads to remove the rest of the residue.
But then lexus of englewood seems to be embedded on the paint.
Ive wax it also. -(
Any advise ? dealer fix ?
