The white looks great with the tint. Do you anticipate any problems with law enforcement with the dark tint?
Thank you! I was thinking of tinting the clear third brake light as it will blend inconspicuously into that gloss black strip of plastic that is up there, the tech told me to bring it back on a warm day as it is cold and snowy today, the adhesive wouldn't have help up well.
As for your question, any tint % is illegal here, but if getting stopped rolling down all windows and having all interior lights on before the officer approaches your vehicle as well as being respectful goes a long way.
As for the windshield, yikes thats dangerous. I have 20% tint on my camaro windows (all around excluding the windshield), and I can't see anything after dusk.
As for the windshield, yikes thats just plain dangerous. I have 20% tint on my camaro windows (all around excluding the windshield), and I can't see anything after dusk.
The rears are over the factory tint. As for windshields I've had it on my last 3 cars, 50% and 40%. It hardly makes a difference and mostly just cuts down on glare during the day. A normal windshield is the equivalent of about 70% so the difference to 50% is minimal. Keep in mind I also live in the city. If one lived in a rural area without street lights and the possibility for animals wandering out into the road I wouldn't recommend it.
Tint pros in Staten Island? Recognize the area! Looks great.
If you dont mind me asking - which dealer did you purchase from? I'm also from SI, and will be going to Ray Catena tomorrow to look at the NX. Thanks in advance!
