No doubt. The RX has be around a long time and there are a lot of followers. Give the NX a chance. It will be a winner.

While the NX is selling very well in its Small Luxury SUV segment - neck and neck with the top-selling RDX recently - they're both still only around 40th in overall SUV sales

My wife & I live between Phoenix and Tucson and we've not seen ONE in the past year.

Lots of RX's, though. WE get a lot of stares with our Autumn Shimmer NX.

For some perspective, in Canada, NX sales is a close second to the RX with a "scant" 500 units/month. What the US sells in one month we need 8! Despite this low number, I suspect the majority of these sales are spread between the handful of major metropolitan areas like Toronto since I see quite a few NX's on the road here. At any one time now during various commutes and errands throughout the week, I see 2 - 3.

I've seen 4 NX's besides mine -unless I go to the dealer. RX's I've seen several but they produce a lot more of them. I recently went to NYC and didn't see one NX.......5 hours of driving both ways not one.

I had not seen another NX besides mine til yesterday on the freeway in Tucson, a Silver Lining Metallic Sport. Then amazingly later that night, there was an Eminent White Pearl NX (couldn't tell what model, still had temp. tags), parked directly behind us in the same row of a parking lot in our town.

2 in one day, & not a one sighted in the exactly one month we've had our Autumn Shimmer base model.

i live in northern part of Orange County, California and maybe see a NX about once a week.
Just returned from a week in Honolulu, I saw several NX a day; Lexus is by far the dominant luxury brand on the island.
Lots of 2016 RX too. A few Audi and BMW, hardly ever saw MB.

Lately, I see about 2-3 a week here in Chicago and suburbs. It's usually a 50/50 split on F-Sport vs. 200t. I've only seen one 300h in the last 6-7mos.
