Did i miss anything? hm... yep definitely sounds like the car i was interested in at first. 9 months later and Lexus reveals the average $48k price tag for the NX which makes me want to go to prison with a bar of soap and bend over for everyone bc that's how i feel, i'm getting raped by that price tag for that little of a car/cuv. you gotta give me a bit more power if you're asking for that much. as mentioned, i did like it a first, but from a value perspective, i'll pass. so if value isn't it's game, and power surely isn't there, and every magazine has said the ride to be tolerant at times slightly stiff, what else am I missing which makes up the NX?

nice, i was wondering when the new model or refresh would come. lets just hope they'll put out some glame on this model, better nav and infotainment system, tech (BSM), and styling like the edginess of the MDX. still got a year to purchase so my mind is still open.
Surprisingly the 2016 Acura MDX is going into production early and will be available soon with a 9 speed transmission (up from 6). Should sweeten the fuel economy a bit more.

i agree, it should improve but only slightly--case in point, the IS350 from a 6 to 8 speed, i think it only went up 1 mpg? something like that.. it just amazes me how the Bavarians can dish out 300+ hp and torque (even though every knows BMW underrates the poo out of their vehicles) and still get 28+ mpgs.. quite honestly the MDX and RDX is not a crazy gas guzzling monster so i'm quite surprised the engine isn't more refined to be more fuel efficient. hell i wouldn't mind putting a cvt in it if it meant having 35+ mpgs lol.

I was at the car show today and they were doing a presentation on the NX and they were interviewing people who were sitting it. The one 60+ year old woman who they asked commented that she didn't like the bolsters on the seats...
