^^^ Ride quality/impact absorption over rough roads on a scale of 1-10, all at 32 psi, relative to an ES, a 10 / 10.

Note 1: I have AVS.
Note 2: Comparisons are subjective to my rear of course and as of now over the warmer summer months which softens suspension components and tires a little. Winter months, the RX F Sport is much worse rated at 7 / 10 as the shocks stiffen noticeably more.

NX - 225/60/18 Michelins Primacy MXM4s = 9 / 10
NX - 255/45/20 Yokohama Parada Spec X = 8.8 / 10
NX - 265/35/22 Nexen Roadian HP = 8.1 / 10

RX F Sport - 235/55/19 Michelin Latitude HP = 8 / 10

IS F Sport - 18" 35 and 40 series OEM A/S Bridgestones = 7.7 / 10
IS F Sport - 19" 30 and 35 series Ohtsu FP8000 Summer AND RSR dropped = 7.3 / 10

Hey CorradoMR2, those wheels look much better than the stock F-Sport wheels (the one with the polished face for our Canadian NX200t). Do these wheels come in 19" for NX as well?

^^^ Thanks AndyL. The VFS1 comes in 20", 21", 22" but with a good tire, ride quality on a 20" could very closely match OEM.

Here's the next Mod Unveil: Lower door chrome molding

The appeal of Obsidian to me is the contrast against a tasteful amount of chrome, but not too much. With the loss of the shiny machined OEM F Sport wheels, the NX needed some sparkle for its side profile. I'm not too fond of Lexus' version of the available OEM chrome molding for the NX (below) that moves up diagonally, so I bought my own 3/4" 3M chrome molding, trimmed and installed it to the shape of the subtle but nicely sculpted lower door rocker panels.
Why didn't you finish the small piece at the front bumper under the F sport logo?

Thanks for the compliment. I would if they materials were cheaper and not have to sell them really high.

I like the fact that it doesn't end right at both ends.

I am running Nitto 255 45 20 on Bossini chrome 20" wheels on my NX . Handling and look are great. Fits with plenty of clearance, no problem.

See pics.

Corrado:

Great Taste.

I really LOVE the look of your NX. So much so, that your's is the model I have in my head as to what I want mine to look like. I haven't purchased mine yet, soon though, and want mine to look very similar to yours. We share a common taste in vehicle aesthetics.

Just had to give you props as what you have done with your NX has really opened my eyes on this vehicle as my very likely next ride.

Thanks.

PS: Keep the pics a flowing.

Nice build thread. Very inspiring!
What are the wheel specs on your VFS1?
Did you end up lowering?

I'm thinking of putting in VFS2 without lowering if possible.

Thanks.

My NX is not lowered, riding on 22x9 +38 VFS1 on 265/35/22 tires. VFS2s this size and tires will fit without any rubbing issues.
