Thanks guys, wonder why the rewind technology is not available for AM/FM?

Maybe because it is not a digital signal? I believe it is easier to buffer digital data than it is to buffer analog data.

Default Squeaky sound in the rear when coming to a stop or accelerating from a stop

So my nx200t f sport still only has 700km on it but recently I've been noticing a squeaky noise coming from the rear when I come to a stop or accelerate from a stop. The sound very faint but is similar to the squeaky springs of a bed. Not sure if I should just continue driving and "break in" the car some more or have it checked out. Anyone else experience the same issue?

Shame Lexus didn't design the slot to be a little larger, it would have made for an ideal place to store sunglasses. I miss the ceiling mounted sunglasses holder in my old CT200h

Mine, too, had not noticed, thanks.

Great find, thanks for passing on to the NX crowd here.

Why isn't this in the owners manual? Lexus has too many secrets, do they not think we can handle the codes? Especially when the touchpad is not held in high regard for a lot of owners of the NX

Yes. Flicking also will scroll the map (moves the map) when in navigation mode.

I set up the cursor speed to "Fastest". Took a mere 10 seconds and done! I like that with one swipe from one edge of the touchpad to the other, the on-screen cursor moves at the same speed (1:1 ratio). It's a subtle change, but another step in the right direction.

I'm used to the touchpad now. I turned off the haptic feedback from Day 1.

Last night, I changed the flick to be at the longest setting as I frequently used to inadvertently move the maps (pain in the butt!) This long flicking seems to have worked, but I'm still testing it.

I also changed the scroll speed to the fastest setting, which allows me to go from one end of the display screen to the other in one full slide of the finger. It doesn't really change the actual speed, it just maps the touchpad's rectangular area with the same area of the display screen. This I really like!

Yesterday when my navigation screen froze, out of anger, I pushed on the touchpad 3 times (in quick succession) in trying to get it to respond. To my surprise, the navigation screen started to go through a complete boot up, like it does when you initially start up the vehicle (Lexus logo, warning notice, connecting phone, etc). Not sure if this is an actual solution because I cannot recreate the navigation screen to freeze, and I actually wouldn't want to do that anyway.

What could have happened is that when the screen froze, the system sensed it and took few moments to reboot it. So, unless three taps will reboot it on demand, it may not have been the taps at all, but simply a coincidence.

Not a NX owner yet but since CorradoMR2 pointed out the occasional rattling of the rear armrest, I noticed that the rear cup holders won't stay horizontally when the rear seats are in the reclining position. I think this is a design flaw overlooked by Lexus. When compared to 3RX or the new 4RX, the upholders stay horizontally regardless of the position of the rear seats as the rear armrest will move accordingly when the angle of the rear seats changes. So remind your rear passengers about that to prevent any potential spills of some beverages.

Also something about the cup holders in the rear armrest, when the lid is open, there is no clicking sound to confirm its upright position. On the other hand, Lexus has improved the feel of the same cup holders in 4RX by including a very subtle clicking sound when the lid is "locked".

Small thing i just realized after couple months driving. I can't enter the address into the nav while driving. Lexus says for safety but what if i have my passenger type in for me? good and bad at the same time.

This was just pure luck. The screen when frozen will time out and restart in time. The actual way to restart the screen is to hold down on the radio dial.
