I have been experiencing too many problems with the infotainment, mostly the following:

1- after i hang up the phone the infotainment screen is stuck with the caller ID, it doesn't return to the entertainment (radio or cd before call) menu.

2- sometimes when playing a bluetooth audio the album details are not fetched. Just a blank appear and the control buttons (next song, previous..etc) will not work anymore. I have to disconnect and re-connect the audio to my iphone again most of the time.
(may be this is only with iphones i don't know.. but it is very annoying)

I see you have been posting a lot lately here with questions and issues about your infotainment system and bluetooth/phone integration.

How long have you had your NX? I would recommend going to your dealership and have one of their Technology Specialists help you with the operation of these systems. S/he can answer all your questions and get you set up properly. They can also determine if something is actually wrong with your system and get it rectified.

I picked up my 2015 NX F-Sport about three weeks ago and I experienced my whole infotainment freezing on me while driving once. I wasn't really able to interact with it after it froze so I restarted the car at the next red-light which fixed it. It's a bit concerning but it hasn't happened again since. I'll definitely be letting the dealer know. Since I picked it up very recently I'm assuming that I have the most recent software updates. How can I check this? Or is this only available to the dealers?

I don't think it's an issue with software updates. The fix for those who had this was to replace the system (I forget if just the computer or what). So they'd probably have to do that for you.

Just encountered the same nav/radio lockup issue on a 4 day old 2016 nx 200t AWD. Everything froze and I had to stop and start the vehicle at a stop light to get it working again. I'm closely monitoring it now and will report it to the dealership if I see it again.

One time, i could not lock the car by using the remote or touch the handle. Unlocked was ok but i could not open the driver side door. So i had to get in from the passenger side and manually unlock the door. After that, the lock and unlock system seem working fine again. If i tell lexus dealer, they think i make it up.

I also have this problem and it's annoying AF.

I either need to unplug my iPod, or have it with no album art/sony information until the next song.

Thanks, i know i could do that but i was testing to see the other doors were opened or not. While i was on the other side, i just went in and open the driver side. My point was telling everyone about the problem i had; which it shouldn't be at the first place.

when ever i backup the car from driveway the nav screen shows the reverse camera and it get freezed, even after i select the drive mode, it happening frequently now days, its fine after i restart the nav...as it my first car it has 4k miles.is there anything i need to worry abt.

^^^ForeverLs, yes, this is a known issue for which the dealer would replace the unit. See history in this thread your post has been merged into.

hi,

i went to the dealer today he said , everything is fine, nothing to worry. we couldn't find anything in our tests.
what should i do,even i didnt notice anything of nav screen freeze from two days..

next time this happens, use your phone and take a video that covers the nav screen and dash. If the dash shows you're in D and the nav screen shows your backup camera (is it a static image or is it live?), then that's not right. Maybe capture some footage of you moving forward while the nav is still showing the backup camera.

I took pictures when my nav screen would get half garbled, even a video. it only happened on rare occasions. I sent those to my service advisor and the next time I brought the car in, the replaced the entertainment computer (I think that was it) and it hasn't happened since.

YES! This happened to me once; exactly like you explained. A couple of times I'll lock or unlock the car and no sound will occur but the lights still flash. It hasn't happened again...yet. Next time it happens I'm going to record it on my phone.
