This look isn't my cup of tea either, but it is making its way into smaller Audi, MB etc. models. NX competitors like Q5, GLK, RDX etc. still have integrated nav screens for now.

I agree too. It looks like an afterthought. Other manufacturers are doing it but that doesn't make it right. Did everyone notice it has guide lines for the back up cam. I guess Lexus does listen once in a while.

Not liking the black plastic fender well add on, looks cheap. All in all though I think I might be getting one.

Same here and the black housing around teh rear lights and mirrors on F-Sport models. That's why I'm anxious to see the darker colored NX's like Nebula Gray or Obsidian/Stargazer black as I suspect a darker color might be best suited on this vehicle, IMO.

I think some wood trim in the NX on upper trim levels will make a huge difference. It would have been great for Kyle to not drive around like a maniac flooring it so we can get some MPG numbers

I liked how he mentioned he could write on the new touchpad, it wasn't the case in the RC.

I dislike how the letters of the "hybrid" badging on the rocker panel is connected. Not as elegant as having individual letters

I agree. Looks like an afterthought. Also, looks like no sunglass holder overhead. Dang!

I think the sunglass holder could no longer hold a lot of the new designs. I know my Oakley Radars wouldn't fit in. I still catch myself hitting the SOS button trying to open the holder though

The similarly designed Audi A3 display (according to Audi) was designed like this to also contain processor and other components for upgrade-ability. Pop the old screen and integrated key parts off for future hardware refreshes.

I agree on the interior trim level appearing as somewhat base level. Does anyone know if the CVT will have simulated manual shift points in Sport Mode?

There is a compartment right by the remote touch to stow your sunglasses. May not be as slick as the overhead ones but at least there is a place for them.

interior looks awesome... most of it is covered in leather. It looks way better than RX for instance, which is plastic everywhere.

There is wood option but not sure if wood is better for something that is going for sporty SUV look.

As to the hybrid and shifts, yes... there will be paddle shifters in F-Sport too... but in reality, people dont really use these at all.

Like spywolf mentioned, but wanted to clarify with a picture that on the non-F-Sport 300h for the US/Canada, the tranny does show S-Mode with + - shifting capability. Pic taken from the video @ 6:00 mark in this post.

Same video as earlier, but he had to make some editing changes. Other video will still be live for awhile, but "unlisted" on youtube.
