Lexus Extra Care Platinum Plan
Thinking of buying the NX 200T as soon as it becomes available and keeping it for many years. Does anyone know which U.S. Lexus dealers offer the best price on "Lexus Extra Care" extended warranty plans? Thanks.

You can get the same warranty up until the time your 4 years warranty is up.
That way you'll know for sure if you're keeping the car.
Also you can shop other Lexus dealers for the same warranty at maybe a lower cost. The cost of the warranty is not locked in stone and varies from dealer to dealer.

I would suggest holding off buying the Lexus warranty at the time you buy the car.

When I bought my CT, I search on forum to find the lowest price for Platinum Plan extended warranty. I think it was some dealership in Taxes. When I bought my CT at a dealer in SoCal, I asked about the Plat Plan and was quoted about $1k more. I told the guy that I will just get it from the other dealer. He kept trying to tell me that they can't do that.. and they are not allowed to sell to California... I just told him that I will do some more research later. Finally he gave in and said he would give it to me for this one time only for about $100 more than the price I quoted and I could split it up into the payment of 0.9% financing. So I got it from him.
