Not that they are in the same league, but looking at that front end in the side by side shot reminds me somewhat of the new Jeep Cherokee (hideous). Still not sold; need to see one in person.

Hmmm, I'm looking really hard for any resembalnce... perhaps the front lights and slightly long front overhang? But the rest, I just don't see it, even less so than compared to the CX-5.

I don't see the resemblance either.

We can sit here all day and posts 2-D pictures.

Just check it out in real life and then you can say what it looks.

Just like how everyone was saying the new 2007 LS looked like the E65 7 series back when it debut

Not a fan of that blue.
Especially with the black side mirrors.
Actually,I don't like the black mirrors on any color except black.

I totally agree. What's with the Black mirrors, they stand out on other colors.

I like it. It's different, and won't be confused for anything else on the road. Should be a pleasure to own and drive. Leaning towards a GS lease but NX seems to be runner up

I think it looks best in white, that's why they choose white in press release. It looks really weird in blue with the silver front lip and black mirrors.

Seems like this car has a pretty substantial front overhang. I need to see it in person, I suppose.

I have enjoyed my Rav4 but badly want more power. NX could be the ticket, but I don't know yet. The specs on the 2.0T sound great so far, so I'm waiting to see what the prices and MPG look like.

White Pearl is sweet......but for me not feeling the black fender wells. As for it looking like the Mazda I think any of these vehicles only so much you can do design wise.
How they are put together such as welds, seams , and materials used to sound deaden the vehicle never mind higher end components like electronics and better seat materials and higher end paint jobs. Never
mind better exhausts systems drive shafts Lexus target iirc is 200k. most cars are 150k. ( for some 100k is a leap forward)

The details its in the details.......like a lousy cocktail ...bartender matters.

.

Exactly. Cars today are so close in features and design, it's all about the details and quality construction.

Eventually an equilibrium will be met and it'll come down to pick your badge and color
