had to start another thread...you didn't like the dead thread huh? kinda sad though, but can't be mad cause everyone has their own schedules. I see a lot of lexus' on the 65, 80 and even the 99, but no love. I talked to one of the salesman at the Roseville dealership and he says, "it's kinda sad...there really isn't a lot of 'enthusiasts' out here." even though my car isn't heavily modded exterior wise, I get a lot of heads turning when I go to the dealership. supposedly there's a norcal faceschmuck page, but I don't do faceschmuck so I guess I'll miss what ever meets that pop up there unless someone posts it in here. I know one other member close to my area and is down to meet up as well. maybe start small and try to expand. hit me up.

You guys live in the middle of no mans land so it's gonna be difficult. Down this way guys would meet up for photo shoots and all.

srt1 shows he's in the yay aka bay area. I know we're in no man's land, but you'll still see modded lexus' up here. might not be CL members, but they exist. there used meets in the sac area, but it seems that that era has passed.

i think its the forum thats dead cause like 4 streets up ahead of me there's a nice modded is350. he said he doesnt go on cause noone on it. its sad.. but i have been seeing more Lexus cars around my area now.

You know? I figured with the prices on cars depreciating there would be more members joining and keeping the forums alive but nope... still pretty dead compared to other forums I've been on. And clearly that makes attending meets almost impossible.

I made a thread for modesto area owners or 209 in general and I have like 2 people respond. Pretty sad since I see tons of IS's , modded ones at that, but no love. But whatever I guess..

If your interested in doing a Meet or going to a meet you know of, hit me up or just post here. My rides not that modded but I'm down to meet up with fellow owners and get to know some of you guys in person. Let me know!!!

Oh and there's a meet on the 24th of October I believe , at Canepa Design down in Scotts valley , CA. I'm planning on being there hopefully , but just a little heads up for you in case you missed the thread on it.

There's supposed to be a free tour and stuff of the facility as well. Sounds like it should be fun

Thanks for the post, Tro209. Yup, it should be a fun meet. Canepa has hosted other car clubs at their facility.

And since Santa Cruz is less than 30 mins away, you could go to the Boardwalk / beach after the meet!
