As I recollect, we have had at least 2 Official Certified meets in the SF region for the past 2 years.
SpecOne and GiantsFan are the only members I know of from SF area that show up. Basically there are MORE people coming from the South Bay attending the SF meet than SF people themselves.
SpecOne and Giants fan attend many, many meets that are not in SF, so there's not much incentive to organize another meet in SF region.
You are def welcome to put together your own mini meet.

That's definitely what it's all about, but a lot of people don't show because they aren't ready to show their modded car until it's complete or they feel intimidated because they have a few mods.
I can tell you that some of our active members have almost stock cars. What happens if they keep attending meets and with veteran member help and advice they will not stay stock for long.
If you take me and a few other key members attending, there's easily 25 to 40 years experience modding Lexus. Been there done that. If we don't know the answer we know who does.
They guys with modded cars are here to help and give others the opportunity to ask questions and get hook up where we get our parts.
Those who try and mod their cars on their own are not taking advantage of the resources available by attending meets.
Im like everyone else. I just want to attend, not make one lol
Hopefully if someone creates one. It doesnt end up like the sc meet where 21 people said theyll attend but end up having 4 cars
