Default Fog light installs?

Anyone have any suggestions for someone who can install the JDM fog lights and control stalk in my GS350?

I ended up not making it to Exact - am going to my stereo guy Tuesday and will report back. I'll let him know that other people in the Bay area are looking so he can really nail it down and bang these out.

I forgot to have them hook it up - I gotta go and have them do it.

The problem being that the cluster will only show when the headlights are on (even if you have your fogs on a different switch) due to CANBUS. So if you have your fogs on, and headlights off, no cluster indicator.

Mine are currently hooked up on the stalk. The cluster light is not hooked up. They operate independently of the headlights and car power - so if the car is off, they will still turn on. Xtreme HID in San Jose hooked them up for me.

I am debating about a couple of things:

(1) Functionality

Ideally the cluster indicator would work no matter what the headlights are doing, but that seems to be out.

My current thought is I'd like them to turn off with the headlights, but if I flip the switch off and on, then they would turn back on even if everything else is off. I just need to figure out if that is possible using relays/etc or if I would need to do something more complicated using an Arduino or similar.

(2) Aesthetics

To be honest, the F-sport fogs aren't that great looking. They are so-so. I am currently contemplating replacing them with Mercedes E-class L-shaped DRL type lights installed on top of the original non-fog panels, or something like LEDayFlex's from Hella if I can figure out a light pattern I like.

Alternatively, I might have small blue and yellow LEDs installed to shine into the reflectors to create a "demon eye" type glow with switchable color choices.

+1 for Exact, I'm sure John can handle any job you guys throw at him

We did a stalk installation for a guy in Merced ~ he was pretty happy with the work too so if you have questions I might be able to answer for you as well.
