So I went to lunch during work and all the sudden my car won't start. I have power to my battery and everything but the engine does not turn over at all. Going to try to work on it in the morning and remove starter.
Should I have starter rebuilt or just buy a new one. If rebuilt where should I get it done at.
Thanks in advance everybody. This is such a fail

rebuild is cheapers... but I rather go with a new one. What year is your car?

it's an 02. It was actually the battery. replaced and now it starts fine. let's see how it goes tomorrow.

Should check the voltage to your alternator to see if its recharging, possibly draining your battery if its dead

So it happened to me twice this week. Monday went to start it and not even key fab responds. Press brake, push button and only radio and heat turns on and out side fans! Went inside to get jumper and it starter when I tried again . Didn’t even use jumper. Also when I drive, it shuts off and powers back on while driving !!! Then today after work, I work for a salvage yard, it open with key fab , put foot on brake and then pushed start and fans turned on . Tried jumping and nope. I had to leave car at work
