Hi all,
The transmission in my 2001 RX300 Silversport AWD seems to be dead. Trying to back out of the garage this morning and the RX would not go into reverse at first...when it finally did, this deafening clunk was heard and it finally went into reverse. I know these are the tell-tale signs of the transmission replacement is inevitable.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a reputable transmission shop in the SF Bay Area. I prefer something in the East Bay...but am willing to driver anywhere I need to in order to a good reputable shop to do this work.
