Have you ever had a mod you were excited about doing? Then when it was done, you looked at it and then said, "it didn't turn out as good as I thought it would be?" Well, the current vents on my hood is one of those mods. I really wanted the vents to be flush, but cound't find anything that I liked, so I went with the ones I have now.
After the install, I tried telling myself they will grow on me. Months went by, and I just don't like them. During this time, I found a company that makes the below vents for BMW. After contacting the company to get measurements, making sure they will fit, I pulled the trigger. They finally arrived from Japan today. They are carbon fiber and sits flush to the hood. They are also much larger than the current vents. My car will go under the knife next week. Hopefully they fit without much issues.
These vents are extremely well made. For the price, they better be. They even come with under tray for the rain. Can't wait to get these babies in. I'll post more pictures after they are done.
Are these the E82 version? NICE!!! Pricey but very nice! Good luck with your project.
Yeah, they are for the E82. They are pricy, but I couldn't stand the current vents anymore. Not to boast, but everything else I've done I loved. Just can't let this take away from that.
