You are correct! It's not just directed towards cell phones. it's anything. It's a distracted driver ticket. So it can be a mp3 player, gps device, gameboy...etc. Oh i may join you guys...I'm not sure yet. I'm in Pinole so it's on the caravan route but i think i'm partying kinda hard the night before so if i don't wake up then it'll be a no.

I believe the CA vehicle code violation is section 23123.. which only limits to cell phones

"23123. (a) A person shall not drive a motor vehicle while using a
wireless telephone unless that telephone is specifically designed and
configured to allow hands-free listening and talking, and is used in
that manner while driving."

So Walkie Talkies are fine.. as long as it's not a cell phone... Unless there's another vehicle code that i am unaware of... if that's the case.. then truck drivers can't use their CB radios anymore...

^Yes, CL doesn't charge people to attend meets if that's what you were thinking...

As Sffd103 said, the charge is to enter the park grounds.
