Default Install assistant with aftermarket HID in bay area

Hi everyone,

I just recently bought the HID kit from xenondepot to install in my 06 IS250 non-HID headlights. I'm afraid of approaching this myself and I don't have a drill to drill the hole on the dust cover of the headlight. Anybody here interested in doing or helping me out with the install? I can pay in beer and burritos or if you want to do the whole install you can send me a quote!

TIA!

Where are you located? I might be able to help you out with installing them if you're in south bay. Are you running a relay harness too, or just the kit?

ooo im located in the east bay, but I don't mind traveling for some help with this! The kit already comes with a relay apparently, so i guess my answer would be yes

oh cool. I've read that having the relay would prevent it from fires or anything. I think its the same as a usual install except with a relay in the line. Maybe we can do the install together this weekend? do you have any tools? I just don't have a drill to drill the hole

I have yet to see a HID kit catch on fire.

PM me if you are in the San Francisco area. LED guy to the rescue!

BTW, I recommend sealing the rubber grommet to prevent moisture buildup. I didn't seal mine, and I had some moisture built up inside after a while. LMK if you need help, I might be able to come up depending on how far you are (and if I'm free)

I thought you have to drill behind the dust cap?

What in CA are you located?

For the headlights you'll need to drill. Foglights you do not.

Get the equipment before you start. You don't want to risk moisture in the headlights!

so you got them in? I really want to get mine in, but the only thing that's really holding me back still is the drilling part + silicone part.
